Seared Tuna on Top of Soba Noodles Photo Recipe

Hi my Socialites! This is a recipe that is packed with nutrients, flavors, texture, and very easy to make. Very simple and healthy but yet delicious. Great food does not have to be hard to make. Don't be afraid to explore and experiment.  I made this recipe for a party of me, myself, and I. That's 1 lonely date. I'm not great with recording exact measurements but only estimation of how much spice or sauce I put in. Enjoy! Let me know how it goes!

Ingredients For Soba Noodles:
Soba Noodles
Shittake mushrooms 
Chopped cilantro
Chopped cucumbers
Chopped scallions
Chopped sweet mangos (optional)

Ingredients for Noodle Sauce:
Mirin sauce
Sugar
Soy Sauce
Lemon juice

Ingredients for Tuna: 
Tuna Steak
Rice vinegar
Sesame oil
Soy sauce
Salt and pepper
Crushed nuts of your preference
Flour
Egg

For noodle sauce: add 3 tablespoon soy sauce, 2 tablespoon mirin sauce, 2 tbs sugar, 3 tbs lemon juice. mix in cold noodles with chopped up cilantro, cucumber, scallions and mango's (if you prefer) place in refrigerator.


Soba Noodles: Boil water and follow soba noodles package. It only takes 3 minutes for noodles to cook. Drain and place under cold water. Set aside. After Tuna is cooked and sliced, go ahead and mix the sauce into the noodles.


Tuna: Grind up any kind of nuts you have in a mortar/pestle. Sprinkle tuna with salt and pepper and coat with  a teaspoon of rice vinegar, a teaspoon of soy sauce, a dash sesame oil.


Coat grind nuts with egg beat. Coat one side of tuna with light flour and then place grind nuts on top of tuna.


Heat pan med/high heat in oil and place tuna for less than 60 seconds on each side. Let it cool down for a few minutes and slice tuna.


Sauteed shittake mushroom after u remove tuna for 30 seconds.


Place tuna and shittake mushrooms on top of soba noodles that is mixed in the sauce you made in step 1!

There you go! Quick and simple and packed full of flavors and deliciousness!
